Intro

Hi my name is Lorenzo, I'm from Ravenna and I'm, as I said before, a computer science engineer, industrial cyber security researcher at the University of Ferrara in Italy. I really love cybersecurity and all related fields of study. In particural I like cryptography and data protection techniques and tecnologies. I always like to get involved, discover and deepen the latest news in the field of IT security. On github you can find all my projects (only the public ones obv... 😛).

Work

Nowadays I want to specialize in IT security, holding a job position in this field. I have a Master's Degree in Computer and Automation Engineering obtained at the University of Ferrara on the 23/03/2021. I currently work as a University researcher.

These are the main areas that I currently follow:

• Research of industrial cybersecurity in the IT - OT field -- BI-REX Project: Safety and Security for Smart Production (SS4SP).
• Research and study of SIEM, software for the event correlation, for Threat Intelligence and Incident Response.
• Analysis and simulation of an industrial network security monitoring solution using OpenStack.
• Study and testing of network security solutions using fpga devices for unidirectional communication at level 1 of the ISO / OSI stack.
• Study of ISO 27001, IEC 62443 and the national italian framework for cyber security.
• Initial approach to Blockchain technology through the study of Hyperledger Fabric software.

About

Actually I work at the University of Ferrara in Italy and I'm a computer science engineer and industrial cyber security researcher. In the free time i love to learn and write code (even for business things).
